Mother’s Day at Saint Augustine of Canterbury
Mother’s Day was acknowledged at St.
Augustine’s with prayers and dedication to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the first
mother of our Church. An altar to Mary was arranged along with flowers to be
given to all the mothers of our church. The youth prepared the roses for our
mothers at their recent youth meeting and then gave them to our mothers as they
left the church following services today.
Mothers are a blessing to us all.
We are grateful to have you in our lives.
May God watch over you, and protect you every day
until the time comes that he requests your presence with him in heaven.
